Ballet Austin is celebrating more than 60 years as a nonprofit organization. It is home to one of the largest professional contemporary ballet companies and classical ballet academies in the United States. The audience services manager serves Ballet Austin audience members as lead salesperson for the organization’s box office by providing information about Ballet Austin products and services, initiating/completing sales transactions and resolving customer service issues. This position, in following established department protocols, will exercise individual judgment to ensure the best possible customer experience. This position designs and distributes customer communications related to all Ballet Austin and Ballet Austin Academy productions (pre-show and post-show communications/surveys) and updates to the Ballet Austin website related to upcoming productions. The audience services manager is highly knowledgeable about all Ballet Austin products and services and works to convert all customers—both current and potential—into loyal Ballet Austin ticket buyers, subscribers, donors and students/clients. The audience services manager is a member of the box office team at all Ballet Austin performances at the Long Center and in AustinVentures StudioTheater.

Non-exempt, Permanent part-time position (8 to 20 hours per week as scheduled with opportunity to build hours)
Hiring specifically for weekend and evening hours. Please only apply if you are available to work weekend and evening hours. Other times may be scheduled as needed.
Hourly, Starting at $33 per hour and is commensurate with training and experience. We do not contract with instructors. As employees of Ballet Austin, all payroll taxes and liability insurance is covered.
The Pilates instructor will join a team of instructors and will teach hourly Pilates classes as needed, including mat and reformer sessions, and may teach both private and group reformer classes. This position is open to an individual who is knowledgeable and experienced in the Pilates practice, and is passionate about health and wellness, loves helping clients and customers to achieve their full fitness potential, and would like to work at Ballet Austin’s state-of-the-art Pilates Center, located in downtown Austin.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Teach Pilates classes as scheduled in the Pilates Center, including group reformer classes, private and duet sessions, and Pilates-based mat workouts as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for clients and visitors to the Pilates Center.
